New Parking Structure Blends with Historic Town

With careful planning and design, a parking structure can blend into an urban setting and lend aesthetic value as well as functional benefits. It can even look like it’s part of the historical fabric of a place. This is the case in our recently completed 207-space parking garage project in Newburyport, MA.
Take a look at some of the details used in the precast work, including thin brick and a cornice piece, both of which help this new intermodal structure blend into this seaside town’s quaint character. This project was the culmination of decades of planning and discussion within the town, as reported in this article about the garage’s grand opening in May 2019.
